Paddling pair score line honours

Albany Advertiser

A number of Albany locals have taken to the water to compete in the 2019 Avon Descent, WA’s premier white-water race from Northam to Bayswater over 124km at the weekend.

Albany endurance race enthusiast Jason Bresanello partnered with Matt Coutts from Busselton in a team called the Farmer Jacks Supermarkets.

They competed in the double marathon kayak class and were able to taste success, being the first craft to complete the full-length race and win line honours in a time of 10hrs 54mins 18secs.
