 Water Level Update

The rain continues to fall and we’ve just see a huge spike in river flow over the last couple of days, making for a very plentiful whitewater training season and a very promising Avon Descent race weekend!

There’s a current severe weather warning for today so enjoy and be sure to take extra precautions while training on the river.

Final week for Seeding Race #2

Under the new paddler seeding program this year, the second seeding race coming up is the 18th July is the LiveLighter Northam to Toodyay race and is significant in collecting seeding points for Avon Descent start grids. Powerboating update

Powerboaters have wrapped up two of their key races for the season in June, the Nannup Cup and the Sunnyside Sprint Race. We got to see some great new powerboats which you might see a bit more regularly over the coming months!

Avon Descent Photography Bilby Bishop captured all the action here with tons more footage over on the PDRC facebook group.
