Update: Low Water Levels Contingency Plan

It looks like we are in for one interesting Avon Descent this year!

The race is going to proceed, regardless of water levels. In view of the current low water levels, some sections of the course may have to be removed. This challenge will create the need for increased team work with your support crews! Approval has also been received to consider allowing the option for single and double paddle craft to convert into teams of two or four, in the event of the low water contingency plan being enacted. An announcement on the low water contingency plan will be made no later than Monday 27 July and all competitors will be advised they have 24 hours to advise us if they wish to convert into a team and to confirm their team partners.

This will bring the Avon Descent challenge to a whole new level! Are you tough enough?
