Opportunities Workshop

The Avon Descent Opportunities Workshop was held at the Burswood Water Sports Centre on Sunday 10 January, the first initiative of the new 2016 NADA Board.

Representatives from NADA, Canoeing WA, PDRC, WCDRC, SLSWA and the Avon Support Unit helped facilitator Greg Kaeding devise some amazing strategies for the 2016 Event and beyond.

The promise was made in the pre-Workshop advertising that ideas, input and suggestions would make a difference and would be acted on. Some of the outcomes are being put into place only days after the Workshop. Expect to see major improvements at Cobbler Pool campsite. There will more focus on the Competitor Experience, more promotion, slicker admin, and there was even a call to bring back the slide at Extracts Weir.
