Get your tinnie, get your tyre for these awesome Friday 31 July activities!

This year we have some fantastic Friday afternoon activities in Northam!

Friday 31st July afternoon program:

Northam Weir between Newcastle Road Traffic Bridge and Pedestrian Swing Bridge

1:00pm   Northam Senior High School  Paddle Challenge

2:00pm   Radiowest  Tinnies Challenge

4:00pm   Avon Valley Advocate Tube  Race

Entry fee $20 per person – Proceeds to ‘ Give me Five for Kids’ charity

Scrutineering and Registration will be at Broome Terrace, Upstream of Swing Bridge

Tinnies: 1:30pm

Tubes:   3:30pm

Maximum of 21 Tinnies in the Tinnie race with 2 competitors in Tinnie.

As many people can fit comfortably in the tube.  This will be checked at Scrutineering.

 

Try your local Tyre shop for a tyre, however if you are in Northam Simon from Beaurepaires Northam has kindly put a few tubes aside! Make sure you contact him!

Please note: Entry rules do apply. Entrants will be racing under the rules and regulations of Northam’s Avon Descent Association. See Rules and Regulations with particular reference to rules 264 and 265.
