When: Sunday 21st July
Time: 11:00am – 3:30pm (immediately after scrutineering)
Time trials will start and finish at BWSC.
Start BWSC and go upstream under Garrett Road Bridge. Go around the small island on the left hand bank at the southern end of the Water Ski Area East of Garrett Road Bridge.Head back downstream and go passed BWSC and under the left hand Causeway Bridge and around a buoy at the southern end of Heiresson Island and back to the finish at BWSC.
Please note:
Pre Race Scrutineering is for all power craft, Personal Flotation Devices (PFD’s) and helmets. Craft and equipment will be checked for compliance with the Specifications.
Pre Race Scrutineering is compulsory for all Entries with at least one entrant living within 200 kilometres of the Perth GPO. The Scrutineer is a ‘judge of fact” and a protest may not be made against their decision.
Entrants who do not attend compulsory Pre Race Scrutineering and are not exempt under Rule 302 may arrange for “Late Scrutineering” subject to approval of NADA and payment of a fee of $100.00 and arrangements must be made with the Event Managers prior to Pre-Race Scrutineering – telephone +61 8 9287 1877.
Craft that fail Pre Race Scrutineering must be re-scrutineered prior to the Descent.
Interstate / Overseas and Entrants living outside of 200 kilometres of the Perth GPO are not exempt from the above requirements. “Late Scrutineering” arrangements must be made with the Event Managers – telephone +61 8 9287 1877.

Paddle Pre Race Scrutineering
All paddle entrants will need to have their helmets and PFD’s (Personal Flotation Device) checked and approved.
When: Friday 2nd August (at time of registration)
Venue: Northam Swimming Pool
Time: 9:00am – 9:00pm
Late Scrutineering
When: Friday 2nd August
Venue: Northam Swimming Pool
Time: 4.00pm – 7.00pm ONLY (not all day as per previous years)
$100.00 Late Fee for those that is not exempt under Rule 302
