CONGRATULATIONS 96FM!! – Perth’s new number 1
96FM has attained market leadership for the first time since 1992 and is now Perth’s Number 1 radio station.
96FM has achieved Number 1 All People 10+ with a 13.3% audience share. The station also delivered its fourth consecutive increase in Cume – reaching 328,000 listeners – and experienced the highest Time Spent Listening of any FM radio station in Perth.
96FM’s Breakfast Show with Blackers, Carmen & Fitzi was the star performer this survey, increasing its overall audience share from 9.5% to 12.4% (Up 2.9%).
96FM’s key sessions again performed beyond expectation:
Breakfast with Blackers, Carmen & Fitzi: 12.4% All People 10+ (Up 2.9%)
Mornings with Mark Pascoe: 15.3% All People 10+ (Up 1.2% and Number 1)
Afternoons with Wayne McClean: 17.7% All People 10+ (Up 0.9% and Number 1)
Drive with Darren de Mello: 12.9% All People 10+ (Up 0.5%)
Nights with Alice Cooper: 10.7% All People 10+ (Up 2.7%)
96FM achieved Number 1 All People 25-54 with a share of 17.3%. 96FM remains the Number 1 choice for workday listeners between 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, with a share of 15.9%.
